Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
Not one to normally cut and paste other stories but a piece posted on Kumb describes how Ludo is over in the UK and touring around PL grounds in his role as a mentor to young Czech players.

In the time here he has spent a week watching the MANU first team train, been given tickets by Arsenal and Tottenham (a whole box by Arsenal) and when approaching West ham for 2 tickets for the Chelsea Game has been told he has to pay for them. This was on top of having to pay for a stadium tour on Wednesday.

As usual Ludo has not made a complaint, its just him making the comment about how he got his tickets.

If ever there was a simple example of how this club is being mis managed and not embracing our history then this is it.

Alienating the fans, you have succeeded.

Alienating the legends of this club? Why?

The Tony Carr incident comes to mind now and its obvious the board are providing clear directions on what the priority is to the employees.

I know its another board knocking story, but they are generating these stories daily through their actions.

Cut and paste below from Kumb:
____________________________________

West Ham legend Ludek Miklosko revealed tonight how he has been asked to pay for his own tickets to see this weekend's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The former goalkeeper, who made more than 300 appearances for West Ham between 1990 and 1998 was speaking to fans at an event in Hornchurch this evening.

Miklosko, who having retired later returned to West Ham as a goalkeeping coach, explained how he is back in the UK on a temporary basis as mentor for a group of young Czech players.

Having recently spent a week at Manchester United, where he and his party were allowed to watch the first team train throughout, 'Ludo' was then given complimentary tickets by both Arsenal and Tottenham for his entire party - plus a private box by the Gunners.

However when he approached West Ham to arrange tickets for this weekend's derby with Chelsea, Miklosko was told that he would have to pay the full price - around £70 per ticket - for all nine members of his party.

He also revealed that the club had already charged him, in full, for a stadium tour on Wednesday.

Despite his obvious disappointment, Miklosko, who was joined on stage at the event by former players such as Tony Gale, Julian Dicks and John Moncur refused to criticise the club when asked for his thoughts on the matter.

Many fans, however, are rather less reluctant to make their opinion known - and some have already taken to social media in order to express their disappointment at the club's apparent lack of goodwill towards a player who continues to be held in such high regard by the supporters.

They even wrote about him in the programme today. You'd think that if you're happy to use someone's name and image and memories of their achievements to fill your literature then you'd at least stump up for a few tickets for them at the very game you do so for.

I can't remember now, but did his peculiarly unexplained exit from the coaching staff come under the current board or not? Probably nothing in it either way, but interesting perhaps.

Any argument for not giving Ludo free tickets when fucking spurs and arsenalor whoever it was did, as well as a free box is simply bollocks. Ex player, ex coach, well respected and genuinely nice bloke and is asked to pay? Fuck off dildo brothers you pathetic money grabbing cunts!!

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
I will buy him a blow up goal so he can charge a pound a pen or shot, I am sure he will make enough dosh before kick off to get a ticket.
Seriously though I do not think they should be charging old players or they should at least give them 10-15 freebies a season.

If the club had to make a choice between complimentary tickets for playes or deserving families it's a no-brainer, isn't it?

i dont even agree with the phrase "good servants"
- paid a fortune, and most of them would go to Chelsea for a pay rise
.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
I don't ever really see a problem with them having to pay, why shouldn't they?

I know they were good servants, but they've also got a lot more money than the majority of normal fans and I've never been given a free ticket even though I've spent over 50k following the useless cunts all over the world for 30 years.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
Trevor Brooking until we left Upton Park got 6 tickets for every home game. That is a lot of £ worth of tickets each season. Less posh seats in the new place so I think he is down to 4 now. I reckon if Ludo wanted 2 for himself he could have got them.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
I think it depends who the player is. If it was Joey Beauchamp or Marco Boogers then no, but Ludo is a legend and I wouldn't have an issue if he received a few freebies.

This is the board however who took away the season tickets from Ron Greenwood and John Lyalls families without even telling them, (allegedly) and I must confess that pissed me off as the way it was done was so unnecessary.

In fact thinking about it I scored three goals at Upton Park which is more than the likes of John Radford and Steve Potts so maybe I should claim some freebies!!!!!
